nos da, bob
13 January 2008The young artists of Caernarfon would like to say “nos da, cariad” to Bob Smith (01/03/1946 - 02/01/2008), light of the British dance world, often sustaining those of us who are starved of inspiration and motivation (and food at exhibition openings) and pretty much the coolest cat in town.
Like all bohemian geniuses, he was mad, bad and dangerous to know. Even though we’ve only known you for the last two and a half years, in this short time your presence has made an incredibly deep impact. Mostly by seeing those of us that had talent, and giving us the proper kick up the arse that we needed.
Here’s a clip of one of his last dance performances, Planted Seeds on Youtube.
Nos da, Bob, see you at the big bar downstairs.
